Reviewed by Orion, King of the Woods on 09/07/03Not much to say on this one, just that its great and
any one that doesn't like it can go jump off a cliff! Its just as good
as any of the others. Simply brilliant!

Reviewed by KIRK MARSCHNER on 10/02/03I THOUGHT VAMPIRESLAYER WAS A GREAT BOOK. IT KEPT THE
FLOW OF THINGS GOING WELL. THE ONLY BAD THING WAS THAT THERE WAS NOT AS
MUCH ACTION IN IT LIKE SOME OF THE OTHER BOOKS. CANT WAIT TO READ
GIANTSLAYER.

Reviewed by Kimberly Chen on 30/12/02I'm not sure this book is 'worse' than the other Slayer
books, but it is different because the enemy is of a different nature.
Whereas Gotrek and Felix's enemies were previously juggernaut type
monsters that seemed to overwhelm the unlikely heroes in direct combat,
the vampire is a foe that worries about self-preservation first,
preferring to hide or manipulate rather than confront. There isn't the
same amount of kick in the door type of action as in the other Slayer
novels. My largest disagreement with the story was Gotrek's decision in
the end. It seemed very opposed to his nature.

Reviewed by Nick son of Nock on 02/10/02Can i just say this as always is another cracking read. It actually came as a shock to me that... SPOILER FOR VAMPIRESLAYER Which is really good. I do think there could have been more action in it like beastslayer but you cant have everything.I'm really looking forward to the next book, i think LizardSlayer could work, a deep trek into the heart of Lustria could be refreshing. And Thanqoul could come back. That is if im correct in thinking that skavenblight is in Lustria, actually could someone tell me if i am right or not. CheersBIG AXES, LOTS OF KILLING, LOTS OF BLOOD,YA HEWWW!!!!

Reviewed by Peter Elliott on 02/09/02I must say, when you read the
reviews for this book, Most people seem to think that it isnt as good as
the rest of the series, but i heartily disagree. I think that this book
is just as good as the rest and had a fitting ending.

Reviewed by Ged Murray on 15/07/02Hi i have to say i love all
the slayer books apart from this one the prob being that theres no acion
in it. I was reading it and praying that some thing would happen! Its
just a long trek across land. But i have to say once it dose get to the
end the fights are as good as ever.

Reviewed by Robin Lindqwister on 06/07/02I loved this book! One of the best
in the series actually! The only two bad things in it was that it was a
bit too predictable if you have already read all the other Slayer books,
and the other thing is that Grey Seer Thanquol (one of my favourite
characters in all the books I have read!) weren`t in Vampireslayer.
Maybe he died in Beastslayer.....

Reviewed by Ryan Lidstone on 16/06/02So far i have loved all the slayer
books and i have to say Snorri rules. Vampire slayer was so far the best
one book out of the slayer series and i can't wait for the next one

Reviewed by Dmitry Grozoubinski on 28/05/02Let me begin by saying that I
loved the rest of the slayer series! This book however was a tad
dissappointing. It was just too easy for the good guys to take everything
the bad guy through at them out. Even if Max had not killed half the
skeletons with one spell chances are the Good Vampire could have taken
them all by her self! Then the Bad guy being afraid of the characters
kept popping up, it's very hard to properly appretiate the power of an
Immortal when he's scared of everyone!!! The other parts of the book
were a tad too predictable and lacked the flair of the Beast and Troll
slayer books.
