21st
September 2003 - For those of you who
may have missed it across on the BL site, I am delighted to say the
artist Adrian Smith (who did the cover for Beastslayer
amongst many things) now has his own website.
Go and check it out, now, but no suing for damages when your jaw hits
the floor in astonishment.
15th September 2003 -
Well, Gamesday has came and went for
another year and a good time was had by all! Bill has asked me to pass
on his thanks to all who popped along to say hello or get stuff signed,
and to say that he's only sorry he didn't get to spend more time talking
to people.
Oh an
more gamesday news when he's caught his breath!
13th September 2003 -
Okay, just in case you hadn't realised,
Gamesday is TOMORROW and Bill is in town! I also have another few
'must-buys' to add to the list including the brand new edition of Space
Wolf (also three weeks early!) and the awesome Geoff Taylor Dragonslayer
cover as a poster.
11th September 2003 -
Gamesday is just around the corner and
the Black Library are pulling out all the stops to make it one of the
best yet. Not only do we have Wolfblade on sale early, the special
seminar where Bill will read an extract of it, and the limited edition
Ragnar diorama but now there are reports of a Wolfblade
t-shirt also!
Oh and
just so all the Slayer fans out there don't feel left out, there will
also be a special Gotrek & Felix t-shirt too. If only I could go...
4th September 2003 -
As you may have seen across on the Black
Library site, Bill will be doing a seminar at Gamesday where he
will be reading an extract from Wolfblade
to whet your appetites, and answering any questions that come up.
For
those of you lucky enough to be going along to Gamesday this year, and
interested in obtaining one of these strictly limited tickets, send an e-mail entitled ‘Seminar’ to the
BL inbox along with your name and Games Day ticket number
(yes, you do need to have one!) asap. Seminar tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served
basis, and if you don't have one, you won't get in! You have been
warned...
4th September 2003 -
I'm pleased to report that we now have
another extract from Bill's 40K alter-ego, Brother Guillame, who gives
us his insight into Wolfblades. It can be found here.
2nd September 2003 -
Bill's new monthly column is now up
onsite - check out what he has to say here.
1st
September 2003 - I'm sorry to report
that it looks like trouble with the printing daemons has meant that the Gotrek
& Felix Hardcover will not now be going on sale at Gamesday.
It's now tentatively scheduled for early October with a retail price of
£30 ($50) so you now know what to ask Santa to bring you for Christmas!
