News & Archives

20th June 2003 - A special thank you must go to Steve Horvath across at Sabertooth once again for allowing us the exclusive preview of the new Malakai Makaisson Warcry card. Isn't it a cracker?

12th June 2003 - I have received confirmation that the new Slayer book artist, Geoff Taylor will also be doing the Wolfblade cover and also the new incarnations of the other Space Wolf covers. Hopefully there will be previews of the artwork when it becomes available. Thanks to Mike Ball for the information.

9th June 2003 - Thanks to Steve Horvath across at Sabertooth, I now have it on good authority that as well as the special Gotrek & Felix Warcry card you can get by redeeming the coupon in the back of Giantslayer and the new editions of the Slayer books, and the Snorri Nosebiter card, they will also be doing other characters from the books too.

Malakai, Max and Grey Seer Thanquol are among the ones planned and Steve has very kindly said he will send me the artwork when it becomes available so we can show it off on the site. How cool is that? Many thanks, Steve!

9th June 2003 - Okay, the final Ragnar quiz (at least for the moment) is now up onsite and can be found here

Be warned though, as is only fitting, this Grey Hunter one is the toughest of the lot and sorts out the Sven's from the boys...

4th June 2003 - Bill's back and he's recovered enough to put his thoughts about LA Gamesday, Firewarrior and Warhammer Online down on virtual paper in his brand new Authorised column for June. Go and read it, now!

3rd June 2003 - Bill has asked me to pass on his thanks to all those people he met and spoke to at LA Gamesday and the Book Expo at the weekend - it was a genuine pleasure, he says....and made it all worth the jetlag!

2nd June 2003 - The Black Library Competition is now closed and I am delighted to announce the winners as:

  • Beastslayer     - Oliver Runzheimer

  • Vampireslayer - Louis Olivier Billette

Congratulations to you both and commiserations to everyone else who entered but did not win. I know it's not much consolation but the names of all those who did their part will be honoured in a special Hall of Fame...as soon as I find time to do it!

2nd June 2003 - As you all probably know, Bill was in LA at the weekend for  LA Gamesday and Book Expo America. We were fortunate enough to have a man on the spot who braved the hordes and Bill's fearsome slayer reputation to get a few snaps of him. They can be found here and thanks must go to Carlos Gomez for risking life and limb to obtain them...
