News - February 2003
7th February 2003 - For
those of you eagerly awaiting Giantslayer, the Black Library have
just announced yet another reason to buy it....as if you needed one!
Still, as an extra added bonus, they will be printing a coupon in the
back of each copy of Giantslayer allowing you to get hold of an
ultra-rare Gotrek & Felix promo card for Sabertooth's brand new
collectable card game - War
Cry!
Oh well, only another two months to go....dammit!
5th February 2003 - Wolfblade,
the fourth installment of the Ragnar saga will be out in October (UK)
and November (Rest of World) alongside a brand new edition of Space
Wolf. The cover artist has yet to be confirmed but you'll know as soon
as I do!
5th February 2003 - Okay,
here's the scoop on the Gotrek & Felix Inferno! special scheduled
for release on the 28th of April. First of all there's an all-new Gotrek
& Felix novella called Redhand's Daughter, Bill's self confessed
tribute to Conan creator, Robert E. Howard which sees Gotrek & Felix
aboard the Storm Hammer, a steamship manned by drunken, seasick dwarves!
There's a sea-battle with some Orc pirates, a quest to find some lost
treasure and the introduction of a new character who we may or may not
be seeing more of in the future....
Next up is 'Where Slayers Dare', a G&F comic strip
and then there's also an illustrated feature taking an in-depth look at
the siege of Praag, an illustrated gazetteer section AND an
interview with William King. And let's not forget the rather stunning
Greg Staples cover!
To quote Christian Dunn, the editor '...How can any self respecting
G&F fan be without it?..'
3rd February 2003 - For
those of you who haven't seen it across on the Black Library site yet,
they are inviting you to submit any questions you may have for Bill, for
the interview section of the Gotrek & Felix Inferno! special.
