Welcome

Hello and a warm welcome to Trollslayer, the official Bill King website.

For those of you who don't know, Bill is an author and games designer, probably best known as the creator of the most (or should that be, least?) successful Trollslayer in the history of the Warhammer Universe, Gotrek Gurnisson. Currently Bill is taking a break from his Black Library work to concentrate on his new non-GW Terrarch trilogy, which has sold in German, Czech and Spanish so far.

Gotrek  and his poet-companion, Felix Jaeger are the central characters in a series of 'Slayer' novels, published by the Games Workshop literary wing, the Black Library and the newest one, Giantslayer is out now.  It involves a trip to Albion, an encounter with a certain High Elf Arch-mage called Teclis and an ancient artefact of the fabled Old Ones. And, oh yes, there may also be some Giant-slayage in there somewhere too...

In his time, Bill has also penned a few 40K stories based around the Space Wolves and I am pleased to announce that everyone's favourite Space Wolf,  Ragnar is back in a brand new adventure entitled Wolfblade. This new novel sees Ragnar pressed into the service of House Belisarius, the Navigator House first touched upon by Bill in his Eldar novel, Farseer and more information on the Wolfblades themselves can be found here in a site exclusive essay written by Bill.

We are continuously striving to improve the site and since its launch we have added several quizzes to test both your Slayer and Ragnar knowledge, a gallery, a special Authorised column which is written by Bill, and an onsite Bulletin Board where you can indulge in some friendly discussion and even have your questions answered by Bill himself on a good day!

Anyway, what else can I say about the author? Actually, I won't say anything at all - thought it would be nice to leave it up to the man himself. Take it away Bill!

Cheers!

Angela
