Maximilian Schrieber
"...I think no good will come to Herr Schrieber in the end..." Felix Jaeger speaking of Max's experiments with Chaos Max is a powerful mage and as such has become a valuable ally to Gotrek & Felix. He was expelled from the Imperial College of Magicians for showing an unhealthy interest in Chaos but found a sympathetic sponsor for his research in the form of the Elector Count of Middenheim. It is in Middenheim that he first encounters the others as he flies out to meet the Spirit of Grungni on the back of a pegasus.
A tall, good looking man with a well-trimmed beard, he wears purple robes and has an ornate headpiece resembling a conical elvish helm, only fashioned from felt and cloth of gold.
He's about ten years older than Felix and he too is regarded as an outlaw after publishing what were deemed heretical writings in a pamphlet. He also seems to be a member of the Golden Brotherhood, an order dedicated to fighting Chaos, though the details are vague.
Not quite so vague is the fact that he is more than just a little attracted to the fair Ulrika and this causes a few complications.
