Malakai Makaisson "...Creating the airship was a deed worthy of the Ancestors. Piloting it to Karak Dum means his name will live forever, even if he does not..."   Borek Forkbeard, speaking of Malakai, son of Makai Thought to be the best engineer who ever lived. He was drummed out of the Guild of Engineers after the first airship fiasco and became a Slayer.  He is another shaven headed dwarf, with the customary red dyed crest and a short white beard. Normally barechested, he wears britches tucked into high boots and there is a large dagger scabbarded to the side of each of boot. A silver skull buckle fastens his belt. He also has the Two headed empire eagle tattooed on his right shoulder and wears thick optical lenses engraved with crosshairs.  When he's flying the airship however, he wears a short leather jerkin with sheepskin collar, a leather cap with long ear flaps and a cut out for his crest to fit through. He is originally from Dwimmerdim Vale, way up north - it's an isolated place which is thought to account for his somewhat odd accent and as with most dwarfs in general and slayers in particular,  Malakai is not someone you would want to cross.
