Felix Jaeger - his poet companion, sworn to follow Gotrek and write the saga of Trollslayer's mighty doom.
Bjorni Bjornisson - A lecherous Dwarf Slayer. See also Dragonslayer.
Ivan Straghov - aging March Boyar and Ulrika's father. He and his lancers join the Gospodar Muster at Mikal's Ford. See also Daemonslayer
Malakai Makaisson - A strangely accented Dwarf Slayer and engineer par excellence. See also Daemonslayer
Max Schrieber - A powerful mage who is also attracted to the Fair Ulrika. See Daemonslayer
Snorri Nosebiter - A stupid and immensely hard Dwarf Slayer who enjoys the simpler things in life - drinking and killing! See Daemonslayer.
Ulli Ullisson - A very young and somewhat boastful Dwarf Slayer. See Dragonslayer.
Ulrika Straghov - A Kislevite noblewoman and love interest of Felix. See Daemonslayer
Arek Daemonclaw - A formidable Chaos Warrior who has succeeded in uniting the four different factions of the Dark powers to march down from the Chaos Wastes and lay siege to Praag. He is superstrong, superfast and near invulnerable.
Kelmain Blackstaff - A Tzeentchian sorcerer of immense power and twin to Lhoigor. He carries a staff of ebony and silver which was found in ruins in the Chaos Wastes.
Lhoigor Goldenrod - a mighty sorcerer of Tzeentch and the twin of the equally powerful Kelmain. Both serve as advisors to Arek Daemonclaw and Lhoigor has a gold-sheathed staff which was unearthed in the Ruins of Ulangor.
Archprelate, The - Leader of the Cult of Ulric in Praag.
Brother Amos - A member of the cult of Ulric, his prophecies had often proven uncannily accurate
Count Mikal - Kislevite noble, he encourages the Duke Enrik's wrath by bringing petty arguments to court.
Enrik Kozinski - the Duke of Praag. A middle-aged man with greying hair, his tendency to see the works of Chaos around him has led to rumours that he shares his father's insanity. His curt manner and fiery temperament belie a gentle and caring manner.
Kaminsky - Boyar of the northern marches of Kislev, occasional rival to Ivan Straghov.Maximilian Trask - Count of Volksgrad, he wears a necklace of Orc ears in battle.
Mona - A prostitute, encountered by Felix in the Red Rose.
Old Boris - Former servant of the ruling family of Praag, he taught sword fighting to Villem and Enrik.
Osrik - A merchant of Praag, initially encountered by Gotrek & Felix on the Gate of Gargoyles. He leads the merchants' protest to Enrik.Petr - A witch hunter and member of the cult of Ulric. He was expelled from the priesthood by the Archprelate of Sigmar.
Petrov - A boy in his mid-teens, the youngest of Ivan Straghov's lancers.
Radek Lazlo - Courier for the Tzarina Katarin. He was sent into the north to spread word of the mustering at Mikal's Ford.
Sasha - A prostitute who works at the Red Rose. Sergei and Olaf were clients of hers.
Stanislav Lesky - "old one-eye", a living legend among the soldiers of Kislev. Despite his age he was still a formidable opponent.Ulgo - A witch hunter and member of the Cult of Ulric. He accuses Gotrek & Felix of conspiring with Chaos.
Villem Kozinski - younger brother of the Duke Enrik. His diplomatic manner makes him a more suitable candidate for the throne than his brother, and he acts as a foil to Enrik's abruptness.
Alrik - High Priest of the Tzeentchian cult in Praag.
Bayar Hornhelm - A Chaos warrior, under Arek Daemonclaw.
Belal - Champion of Khorne, defeated by Arek Daemonclaw during his ascendancy to power.Blood Screamers - One of the many tribes of marauders from the north who joined Arek Daemonclaw's warband.
Bubar Stinkbreath - Chaos Champion and leader of the Nurgle worshippers of Arek Daemonclaw's warband.
Daemonettes - Slaaneshi Daemons, they take the form of bizarrely beautiful women, often bald-headed and pallid, with large green saucer-like eyes. Instead of hands they often have massive claws or scythes. Their ability to manipulate men is a combination of unnatural allure and seductive magic.
Damien - Tzeentchian cultist in Praag, he has a suspicious nature, especially around his fellow cultists.
Flamers - Daemons of Tzeentch. Bizarre-looking creatures, their bodies resemble an inverted mushroom. They have no head, their faces being embedded in their bodies. Two trunk-like limbs end in an orifice which drips a horrid fiery substance which gives the daemons their name.
Halek - High-ranking member of the Tzeentchian cult in Praag. He is ordered to dispose of Gotrek & Felix
Ice Marauders - One of the many tribes of marauders from the north who joined Arek Daemonclaw's warband.
Jan Pavelovich - Cultist, sent to kill Sasha at the Red Rose in case she could identify Halek and lead Gotrek & Felix to him.
Karl - Member of the Tzeentchian Cult in Praag. His accent and manners suggest he is a member of the nobility.
Katrin - Cultist, a member of Karl's cell. She was captured, and had to be disposed of by Halek before she revealed anything
Klublub - Champion of Nurge, defeated by Arek in the Chaos Wastes during his rise to power.
Lady Silenfleur - Champion of Slaanesh, bested by Arek during his time in the Chaos Wastes.
Lars - Tzeentchian cultist, sent by Halek to assassinate the Duke Enrik.
Lothar Firefist - Champion of Khorne and leader of the Khornate faction in Arek's army.Mikal - Lion-headed Chaos champion, one of Arek's lieutenants. Mikal had plotted to assassinate Arek but thanks to warnings from Kelmain and Lhoigor, the tables were turned.
Morgar Doomblade - Khornate champion under Arek Daemonclaw. He led the attack against the Skaven army during the Siege of Praag.
Olaf - Cultist sent to kill Felix. A short, stocky man, with a high rasping voice. He accompanied Sergei and was considered the brains of the pair.
Pavel - Tzeentchian cultist, sent by Halek to assassinate Enrik.
Scar Raiders - One of the many tribes of marauders from the north who joined Arek Daemonclaw's warband.
Sergei - Cultist sent with Olaf to kill Felix. A tall, heavily built man with a deep voice. His lack of wits made him no less dangerous.
Sirena Amberhair - Hermaphrodite champion of Slaanesh and leader of the Slaaneshi faction of Arek Daemonclaw's army.Victor - Member of the Tzeentchian cult in Praag. He appears to have a Bretonnian accent, though it could be a trick to mislead his fellow cultists.
Grey Seer Thanquol - The skaven magelord currently enjoying the 'hospitality' of the Hellpit. See Daemonslayer
Izak Grottle - obese Skaven of Clan Moulder.
Lurk Snitchtongue - Thanquol's somewhat 'changed' former henchling, responsible for leading the skaven-slave revolt that has brought the Hellpit almost to it's knees
Doomfang - Wyvern steed of Skathloc Ironclaw during the Great War Against Chaos.
Nagash - The Great Necromancer, an undead liche of great power. He is said to have created many of the spells that make up Necromancy. In his time he was all but immortal, and laid an entire kingdom to waste through magic. It was only through the treachery of the Skaven that he did not come to rule the Known World
Skathloc Ironclaw - Leader of the hordes of Chaos during the Great War Against Chaos.
Tzar Alexander - Ruler of Kislev at the time of the Great War Against Chaos. With the aid of Magnus the Pious and the Dwarfs, he managed to turn the tide of the war and is thus remembered as a hero and saviour of Kislev.
Witch King, The - Malekith, son of Aenarion and ruler of the Dark Elves. He is incredibly old and fuelled by his hatred of his High Elf kin.
Black Lotus - A narcotic, used across the Old World for those too desperate, or too decadent, to cope with real life.
Deed of Magnus, The - A book detailing the story of the Great War Against Chaos, and Magnus' actions during it.
Eye of the Lord, The - A magical artefact, kept by Kelmain and Lhoigor. A gigantic crystal orb encased in metal, it is used to predict the future.
Gospodars, The - Ancient tribe who migrated from the eastern steppes and settled in the northern old world, eventually founding the nation of Kislev.
High Packmaster, The - Title given to the leader of Clan Moulder.
Longbeards - A term of respect for venerable Dwarfs, in allusion to the impressive beards that mark their age and wisdom. Longbeards often form elite regiments in times of war.
Old Ones, The - Near-mythical race who once ruled the Warhammer world. They had mastery of both magic and technology, yet they were unable to stop the collapse of the Warpgates that released Chaos into the world. Also known as the Old Slann.
Skinless Man - A banner carried by one of the northern marauder tribes, a symbol of their savagery and dark nature.Weirdblood - Marauder tribe from the north, where Kelmain and Lhoigor originate from.
